My nephew, Anthony Ciampa,(only child of my sister Maureen) was recently and surprisingly diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a dangerous but treatable form of blood cancer.  This fund has been created so that we can provide assistance to him and his family as he goes through treatments that include chemo and stem cell therapies.  These treatments, along with his relative youth (37 years old) and general good health are hoped to bring him to long term remission of the cancer.  However, during the time of these treatments he will be unable to work and provide for his family.  He is applying for long term disability but this is expected to only give him about half of his present income.  Anthony has grown into a brave, strong man and a loving father, husband, son and nephew.  Contributions to this fund will go directly to Anthony's bank account and help his family stay solvent through this ordeal.  As his uncle I plead with our large extended family and our friends to open your hearts to help this wonderful guy.  He is one of ours.  Let's make him feel the family loyalty and love that we are justly proud of.  Please make a contribution as soon as you can.  I will send updates regularly.  Thank you for your generosity.
