Teresa McRoberts' Memorial

On July 31st, my mother, Teresa passed away unexpectedly. She was the most loving and caring person, so incredibly giving and generous. She would drop everything for anyone. She would plead with you to take her last dollar. She would listen for hours and hours to anything and everything you had to say. She was never judgemental, always supportive. Always the first person to help in any way she could. She always made sure everyone knew how proud she was of them, how much she cared about them, how much she loved them.
She was the most amazing mom.
And surrogate mom.
And friend.
And daughter.
And sister.
She was genuinely the most kind-hearted, sweet spirited, and honest souled people I have ever met. And I'm not just saying that because she's my mom.
She had quite a difficult life and had many health issues, but she was still so young at heart and vibrant. She had been through so much in her lifetime and was still so incredibly devoted to God. So strong in her faith. I admired her strength and hope.
My brothers and I visited her only days before and she was so happy and silly. Talking to us about the friends she had gotten back in touch with and how excited she was to be getting a new home with us soon. Showing me pictures of what color blue she wanted to dye her hair. (I may have encouraged her to do that.)
It wasn't her time to go. She had so much more she wanted to talk about. So much more love to give.
Unfortunately, how she passed is unknown. We were unable to fund a private autopsy. But she passed peacefully, in her sleep. And that's really all I could hope for. No stress or suffering. Undoubtedly in heaven watching over us, I hope she can now see just how incredibly loved and adored she was by so many.
As of right now, things are a little busy and up in the air. With my brothers still being homeless, it's difficult to get everyone together and work through things. So please, bear with us.
We are planning to have a Memorial for her on Saturday, August 13th 2016. Other details are currently being worked out and I will make an official post soon.
If you would like to donate to her Memorial, and end of life expenses, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
