Hi, my name is Kat Frazier and I'm trying to raise funds to publish the book I wrote about my first born son Christopher.

When I was 18 I gave birth to him. The year was 1976.

When he was 8 months old I found out that he had a rare hereditary disease called Leukodystrophy, that it was fatal and there was nothing they could do about it.

He was 11 months and 12 days old when he died. The doctors told me no child lived more than 2 years. They also told me that I would probably never meet another family with a child like mine.

The book follows my journey through my son's life and how I was eventually able to find out about his disease and even meet others with kids like mine.

It wasn't until I was able to get his ashes 5 years ago that I finally felt I could tell his story. Thank you.
