Hello my name is Jillian and my little sister Shannon Lang has type 1 diabetes, which means her pancreas does not work anymore and she needs insulin to live, She has had this disease since she was 10, She is now 24 and because of this disease she is going blind and the only hope she has to stop or slow down the progression is to get injections in her eyes, these injections are $2000.00 each and she needs 12 injections per eye. The government does not cover any of the price so it has be coming out of pocket, as a student at Mohawk collage and working full time there just isn't enough time or money to Continue with her treatments. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover her 24 injections (12 per eye). There is no donation to big or to small everything counts.
