Rebuilding after Hurricane Hermine

On September 1, Hurricane Hermine hit Tallahassee, FL. We settled down at my good friend Amy's house to ride it out. Close to midnight a huge 40ft tree came right down inside her home entering the living room and kitchen, water was starting to flood her home. We all were in panic mode using every blanket, towel anything we could find to try and soak up the endless water that just continued to pour in. We were unsuccessful as the storm was getting worse and the rain was pouring in through the roof. We had 6 children in the home who we moved into the hallway on airbeds. The water continued to flood her home, and started making its way to where the kids had settled in the hall. Amy Parks and her family are amazing people. They opened their home to us during this storm; now she needs help! The funds will help them to replace belongings, board pets, a storage unit, and other expenses. They were offered a place to stay for free of charge for the next couple months(Amazing) Which has helped Amy and her family see that everything will be ok.  She and her family are grateful for anything you would like to help with.
