Hello, my name is Miero and I am a proud dog mom.
Pixie is my sweet 7 year old Chihuahua mix. She is a friend of many humans and animals alike and brings light into the lives of everyone she meets. She recently developed a tooth root abcess that will require dental surgery.
This wouldn't normally be a big ordeal but Pixie has had major complications from being anesthetized before causing her to be high risk for anesthesia. For this reason she must have surgery done at UC Davis as their anesthesia department is one of the best in the country and will be able to quickly respond to further complications.
Surgery at UC Davis will of course not be cheap. My family and I will be putting as much of our own funds into this as we can but any extra help will be a godsend.
All funds will go directly to her medical bills and her surgery is scheduled for April 27th.
Pixie is the love of my life and I want her to have many more happy and comfortable years to come. She and I will be eternally grateful to anyone who can contribute even if its just a few dollars.
