Regina Quinn Campaign.
How can I help my friend Regina Quinn and her family in this very difficult time? I know Regina and Mike have MANY co-workers, friends and loving family members who have asked themselves this very same question. So ultimately this is for Regina but on the surface it is a way for us to bring them some relief and peace of mind.
Regina is once again battling breast cancer. A cancer that she will live with and need to manage for the rest of her life. The chemotherapy drugs that Regina is taking are, of course, new to her system and she is having difficulties getting used to them. Some days are good, Some are not. She will continue to work at the job that she loves but cannot maintain a 40 hr work week. This has created significant financial stress for her and her family.
Regina is blessed with a very hardworking, loving husband, Mike, who is doing more than picking up the slack at work and at home. Together they have always maintained very full lives of after school activities with Son Tommy, and spending time with loving friends and family.
Some of you may not know that Regina has spent endless hours herself organizing different charity events over several years that have benefited many sick children. Mike and Regina have both given much of their own time and money on these charitable events.
I want Regina to spend this money the way she sees fit but being her very best friend I know of two specific things that would help her and her immediate family greatly. First, they need help with the maintenance both inside and outside of their big old home. I am positive this will help Regina's mind, body and soul. She cannot continue to do it all herself and she can not watch it become neglected. Last, she would like to see a doctor who specializes in healing through natural supplements and diet. This type of regiment is not covered by insurance. Regina has a personal friend who has reversed the effects of MS through this doctor. It is expensive but worth it for our friend to give it a try. Without us, they cannot fund this themselves.
I know we all go through difficult times, if you cannot give right now please just keep Regina and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your time today. Please forward this post if you have any of Regina's friends or family members on your friends list.
From the heart, THANK YOU!!
