It’s a pet-owners worst nightmare: Steve Trembey’s 11 year old little Wally had a major IVDD episode (herniated disc) Monday early morning. He let out a terrifying, frightful and painful cry for about 20 seconds. His right rear leg is now paralyzed and the left rear is impaired. Wally cannot walk. Told by vet he should have disc surgery but it costs in the neighborhood of $11,000. He's on pain meds, prednisone and muscle relaxers.

Even with the astronomical cost, Steve Is opting for surgery for Wally as he’s not any better today. They are at the Veterinary Specialty Center in Lynnwood right now in pre-surgery exam. Initial exam testing was positive for a good outcome. He was a perfect gentleman in the exam room.
