We Love Katie Steele

Our dear friend Katie Steele was hiking near Lake Tahoe with her husband and brother in-law when she experienced a seizure. She went to the hospital to get checked out and the brain scan revealed a tumor near the pituitary gland. She returned home and was treated by one of the best neurosurgeons in the country at the University of Washinton. Her surgery was a complete success! The doctor was even impressed at how well it went. Katie is now back home and well on her way down the long road of recovery, but she could use our help.
Her insurance covered a large percentage of the cost of the surgery and medical care, but the Steele's need to come up with 10 to 12 grand out of there pocket to cover the rest. Not to mention the fact that Katie has not been able to work for over a month and her husband has had to take a lot of time off to support and take care of her. Many hands make a heavy load light.
