Karen Eichler's Medical Expenses

This is Karen Eichler. She's the mother of a precocious 8 year old little boy named Caleb and is my beautiful wife. Karen is a woman that is selfless and believes in helping others which is why she's self-employed helping the elderly with their needs.
Being self-employed means that when she doesn't work, she doesn't receive a paycheck. Although I carry her on my insurance through my employer, there will still be co-pays and deductibles to be met as well as lost wages when she has surgery later this month. We're looking at a minumum of six weeks of her being down and that's going to hurt us finacially because we're a two-income home like most other families.
She has Chronic Endometritis and has to have a full hysterectomy. Due to her age and several suspicious areas within the anterior and posterior sections of the uterus, the doctor has opted to do the procedure through the area of her C-Section to ensure there aren't any areas of concern within the abdominal cavity.
We're looking at a surgery date in the next 2-3 weeks and need to start paying bills in advance so that we don't have the weight of financial obligations hanging over our heads during her recovery time and the period she won't be working.
It's not often we reach out and ask for help since we're both employed, proud and self-sufficient but this time is different: we need your help.
Anything you can spare is another dollar towards helping us keep up with bills, groceries and the everyday items that a family needs.
