Hello everyone, my name is Keith Porter and I am a member of People's United Methodist Church. Currently we distribute food once a month with the help of our members and some local stores.
I have declared that I would raise at least $1000.00 and increase distribution to at least three times a month. With our distribution increase, our food bank would qualify to be part of the City Harvest contributions. The biggest focus here is on community. Distributing food within the community at least three times a month can help generate a larger sense of unity. There is such an abundance of food in the world; lland by providing food and creating connection we can address other needs that may be more prevalent in the communities.
