Almost at the finish line...but I need your help.
Setting aside all of the pride inside of me, after trying very hard to talk myself out of doing this, here I am. Here I am, humbly asking for your help. I never thought I would find myself needing to use this resource to ask for financial help, but here I am. 6 years overdue, trying to finish my Bachelor degree with $10,000 (really $11,041,16) short of having the ability to finally finish my degree. I should've been class of 2010...but life happened. Here I am, 3 classes away from completing my Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
I've prayed. I've applied for a $10,000 loan but I fear the process will not be complete and I will not have an answer by the due date of September 8th.
I thought my bill for Fordham would be less...I thought it would be more manageable...but they are charging me the full time tuition, and after subsidized, unsubsidized, you name it...yet I am left with a bill of $11,041.16 that continues to accrue late charges and has to be paid by the last day of the Add/Drop or else I will be withdrawn from my last 3 classes.
Humbly I ask for your help...I ask for 550 of you amazing people to give $20 each...that will cover this last bill...that will allow me to finish my degree. 550 generous people who I will owe my deepest and most sincere gratitude to.
Help me pay for my last semester at Fordham University.
I need the accountability...I need the weight of not letting, all 550 people who help me, down. It's time to finish what I started in 2006. 10 years later...it's time. It's time for me not to back down, for me not to quit, for me to prioritize school and work as though my life depended on it to make to this finish line that is so close. Here I am, fighting...not trying to let an $11,042.16 bill keep me from completing degree.
