A Heart for Donnie Harp

My name is Belinda Harp. My husband, Donnie Harp, is having a heart transplant. We have been married 24 years. We have 10 children, five of them we adopted. We still have 4 of the adopted children at home. My husband was born with heart problems and after 56 years, his heart has given out on him. He had a stroke when he was 19 caused by a blood clot in his brain. The stroke has affected his right side but he continued to work until 1993, when his heart could no longer take the stress.
We also have 13 granchildren and one on the way. He loves his family and dotes on his grandchildren. Donnie is a good christian man. I cannot imagine life without this man.
The money will be used for his medications after the transplant and trips back and forth to the hospital. We live about 100 miles from the hospital and we will have to travel to the clinics 2-3 times a week for the first 8 weeks.
