Long time friends of ours are going through the toughest time of their lives. After fifteen years of teaching in Racine, WI Brea Puetz has hit a rocky road. She has epilepsy, and it has hit hard this year. After a huge siezure she had to be flown to Minnesota to have serious brain surgery. Then she came home, and had an infection that caused such complications that she had to be flown back, and now lives every day with unbelievable pain. In February her insurance runs out, and she may not be cleared to go back to teaching. She will lose her job, and her wonderful husband Jeffery has been working his bones raw as a contractor to make up for the loss of income.
Moslty I'd like everyone to pray for them tonight and more if you can. They are in a hard place financially, and they don't know I'm doing this ~sorry Jeff, but they are some of the best people I've ever met, and I'd like to do anything I can to help them through this. Please pray that Brea is healed, and that Jeff and their three beautiful children can hold everything together.
If I had a million dollars I'd give them $900,000 because this family is so humble, warm, friendly, and loving even with all their turmoil. They came over for dinner the other night and still offered to pay for the pizza from Infusinos. On the way to pick up the pizza Jeff and I talked man to man, and he has such a wonderful work ethic, but he cannot do more than he's already doing. The stress on their family is heartbreaking, and if I could send them some money through all of you it would help the healing, and take some stress off the huge burden they already carry.
Thank you for your prayers
