Educator to Real Estate Investor

On Tuesday, May 10, 2016, during my prep hour, I was sitting at my desk and said something most people have said, “I’m tired of living paycheck to paycheck!”

I decided to challenge myself to open a savings account, put one dollar in it and within 1 year take that $1 balance to $1,000,000. I opened a savings account and that is what started Road2AMillion.com.

In doing so, I had to establish short, medium and long term goals. All of my goals were tied to effectively leveraging my efforts so I can achieve more financial independence. I noticed that I kept identifying real estate investing as the mechanism to financial independence.

I decided to go into Real Estate Investing. Why not? I have always followed real estate but put off being an investor. I have helped people improve areas in their home, their home value, and the equity in their home.

I developed a business plan to purchase distressed homes in specific markets in Michigan, below market value, fix them, and sell them for profit.

The business plan has helped me secure funding for the purchase and rehab of Single Family Residences. I have also met a number of contractors and I am confident the ones I have chosen to work with will provide quality to each project.

I am seeking to raise $7,293 by September 16, 2016. Your contribution will help offset some of the initial costs of starting this Fix and Flip business:
