This past semester has been one that has truly opened my eyes. I lost my Great Aunt to cancer and saw my hometown be impacted and united by the loss of one of our own Fairport Raiders, Blake Cognata. Cancer is an ugly thing and I want to be apart of the fight in making a difference and ending cancer once and for all.
My heart goes out to all of those who have fought or are still fighting and know that you are not alone. All funds raised go to the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults which specializes in young adult cancer support services.
My mission was $1,000 but now it is $2,000 in less than a week (144 hours to be exact) to shave my head to give back and raise awareness. Cancer changes lives and so do we. Thanks so much for all your donations and support! <3
