This is Emma on her trip back to el paso to have surgery. She lost all function of her legs. On Sunday August 28th, 2016 while I was in my kitchen she was on my bed and she followed my fiancé to the living room. She jumped off the bed and screamed like I've never heard. She herniated a disc in her spine. For those that know us, you know she's more than a dog to us. Without her I don't think I could have lost the more than 100lbs that I lost. She would jump on me and force me to get up when I hit my peak weight of 396 lbs. She has so much character that I would slowly roll out of bed and she got me active. We now live in los angeles, but the surgery and rehab was looking at an excess of $10k. We are from el paso, TX and I as I called vets around town it was in the $2k range which was a relief. We ask for any donation if possible to help us get my companion to walk again the way she got me to walk agai . I'm trying to return the favor to one of the greatest dogs I've ever owned.
