Adopt-a-Bench in Abingdon Square
Donation protected
Dear all,
I hope this finds you all well and enjoying spring. Finally!
As the weather (thankfully) has turned to hopeful, both me and Nate's thoughts and energies have moved with it into planning the Abingdon Square Adopt-A-Bench for David. The idea is to raise the funds, $2,500, and dedicate it in his memory. We'd also love to have a proper dedication ceremony once it's up. David's parents have expressed interest in being there for it if the timing works out.
People at the New York memorial expressed interest in helping the bench become a reality and now is your chance. I'm confident we'll raise the funds and every contribution, big or small, will help.
If you'd like to contribute, here's where to do it and thanks to everyone. All money raised over and above the cost of the bench will go towards supporting horticultural activities such as buying bulbs in Abingdon square.
Love,
Liz
