On Thursday May 18, our family made the hardest choice to let our goofy, sweet, brother and son go, as the doctors said there are no more possible options left. Surrounded by family and friends, we turned off the ventilator and took out the tube, releasing him from the body that had failed him again. He deserved so much more life. We all cried and reminisced on the memories we have of our sweet, opinionated, stubborn boy, and we were all so lucky to know him. We were not prepared in the slightest. I know so many people who loved and cared for him. If you have the means to help with his final plans, we appreciate anything. We were not prepared for this.
