Jonathan Looney, the fourth and youngest child of Jeremy Looney and his wife Megan, was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  Jonathan also happens to have Down Syndrome. In fact, the Down Syndrome, combined with this type of leukemia, actually has an excellent prognosis. However, it requires a six month stay in the hospital. Jeremy and his other children have moved into the Ronald McDonald House in Chapel Hill so they can be near Megan and Jonathan at UNC Children's Hospital.

We have opened a GoFundMe page to help Jeremy and his family with the costs of living away from home, including meals, gas, parking and the myriad of extra costs that accompany a long stay in the hospital.
