Miss Piggy came from a high-kill shelter down in Madera County. She went into the shelter on 2/24 after possibly being hit by a car, she spent most of her pregnancy in a small cage. The Milo Foundation rescued her on 4/4/16 and my family started fostering her on 4/9/16. She is full term and her water broke yesterday afternoon but has not started pushing. She is going to the vet for the second time today and will most likely have to be induced. Worst case they will have to do a c-section which is extremely costly. On Monday she had an x-ray which showed 7 plus puppies. At the Madera shelter she was vaccinated which could cause complications with her babies. We are hoping for the best but its probable that this will be a very expensive delivery.
