money for wheelchair paths & ramps

This is my cousin Kristy. 19 months ago she was a legal assistant, she had just recently bought her first home. Kristy was an adventurous, free spirit taking on the world, passionate about life and living hers to the fullest. She had been experiencing flu like symptoms and few days later found herself on life support. She was diagnosed with Guillain barre syndrome. A rare condition that effects less than 20,000 US citizens per year. It causes your immune system to attack your nervous system. It's been an uphill battle ever since. She has been on life support multiple times and beat the odds. She is now confined to a wheelchair, after months of physical therapy she has been sent home to live her life the best she can under the circumstances. While in the hospital her savings account was depleted,her family has also struggled financially to help her through this dark time. We find ourselves in a position where there just isn't any money to finish the necessary updates around her property to make it more wheelchair friendly. Every day Kristy wheels herself out of her house, through her backyard, down the alley, around the block to the corner bus stop where she loads herself onto the bus and heads to physical therapy. It's physically emotionally and mentally exhausting, and the doctors still don't know if she will ever walk, her perseverance and determination are inspiring, and I believe she will walk again someday. With winter around the corner,she needs a path built in her backyard to allow her easy access to the gate in order to continue her physical therapy appointments. With the money donated our plan is to buy the needed building materials for this path so we can help her continue on this journey. Please share this post and donate if you can. Any little bit helps
