Quecholli Invades National History Day!
Donation protected
My name is Quecholli Q.E. Nordwall. I am Shoshone/Chippewa/Mexican and a member of the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe in Nevada. I have been selected to represent Nevada at the National History Day competition in Washington DC by qualifying first at my school level and then winning two awards at the Regional State competition with my project on the Indian Occupation of Alcatraz Island. I am seeking support to represent my school, my state, my tribe and Native Americans in this prestigious and nationally acclaimed academic event.
I strongly believe this is an exceptional opportunity for me to further my education and improve my research, critical thinking and analytical skills. I believe my project will provoke thought and awareness on the subject of Native American issues and will allow me to follow in the path of my grandfather and father by embracing and educating myself and others about my heritage. My participation in this event depends on whether I can raise $3,000 in sponsorships and I am in need of your help.
