Casey Keogh and James Flood are two young Gladstone Pencak Silat practioners who have been practicing their chosen art of Silat Langkah Baru for just over 12 months. Through diligent training, extraordinary committment and determination they have fought their way into the Australian Team to represent their country at the Persilat World Championships in Bali, December 2-10 2016. The Persilat World Championships is one of the premier sporting events in South East Asia, attracting major crowds and support from the South East Asian community.
Both of these athletes are determined to give their all for Gladstone and Australia at the World Titles, and need your help to get there!
This page is dedicated to raising the necessary money for them to be able to successfully train and compete in these titles. All monies raised will be spent on training to an elite standard, travel to the venue and ancilliary costs associated with such an event.
Help put Gladstone on the world stage and allow these two outstanding young athletes achieve their dream of successfully representing their country.
