Hi everyone! 

My name is Alyssa! I am a Junior at Azusa Pacific University, studying both Journalism and Political Science. 

I have been given the opportunity to study abroad in Washington D.C. in the Spring 2017 semester! While I'm in D.C., I will be taking classes, as well as participating in some type of internship to further my career and build my portfolio! 

The money I raise will be my spending money for the semester, which will contribute to school activities, transportation, and most importantly, FOOD!!! 

I leave for this amazing opportunity at the beginning of January, and I return at the end of April! 

Having all of you contribute to this cost would mean so much to me because it would make all of you an even bigger part of my journey than you already are! Having this money would mean that I would actually be able to go to D.C., and engage in this incredible opportunity without having to worry about where my money for food and activities will come from.
