Anitian 2021 Holiday Giving - New Life K9s
Tax deductible
Anitian has a rich history of giving back to the community and those in need. In these difficult times, we are fortunate to have a company that is growing.
In the past, Anitian did many different holiday giving programs. We have donated clothing, helped animals, and provided direct funding to charities we believe in.
For 2021, we are launching a program to raise money for two charities.
We have identified two charities for 2021, one being:
1. New Life K9s
New Life K9s is teaching service dogs for Veterans and First Responders with PTSD. Their goal is to prevent suicides, enrich relationships, reduce homelessness, save community resources and decrease the need for medications. Their dogs are provided at no cost to the participant.
Service Dogs provide a unique set of skills along with constant support and companionship others cannot. A service dog's purpose is to promote and sustain greater independence and healing by assisting veterans and first responders in situations that can be difficult. A service dog's presence and skills help enable him or her to re-engage with the world, others, and challenging situations to rebuild a sense of safety and trust.
How this works
1. You donate whatever amount works for you.
2. On December 31st, Anitian will match all the donations 1 to 1 up to $5,000
3. We will divide the total amount between each charity equally.
Questions
Is this tax deductible?
Yes, by donating directly to the charity you will be able to get a receipt from GoFundMe.
Who is managing this?
Megan Avena and Dylan Corbett. Megan and Dylan have set up the Go Fund Me. Once the fundraising is closed they will take the money and send it to the charities.
Can I just donate directly?
Of course. We set this program up to make a donation as a company, and match your donation.
What is the goal?
$5,000 would be outstanding between both charities. This would mean $10,000 total, or $5,000 to each charity. However, any amount is good.
