As some may already know, my name is Jose Omar Rodriguez. I am a husband, a father, a friend, and soon to be pastor. Four years ago, I decided to drop everything and study Theology at Southern Adventist University. Since day one here at SAU there has been a lot of obstacles. But truly there is a living God, a God who I believe has always responded to my call for help. In all honesty, I would love to share with you all the incredible miracles He has done in our lives but it just wouldn't be fair to you due to time and it would not all fit here anyways. All I can tell you is that the love God has revealed to my family and me, we desire to share that love and much more with the world. We want to give back to the community, to the sick, to the need, to the broken hearted and provide hope any way we can.
Good news, this is my last year in school and with hard work, I will achieve getting my degree so I can be a pastor. Bad news, this GOFUNDME fundraiser is due to this being my last year and unfortunately, I am completely loaned out. Unlike before not everything is covered, like health insurance, books, housing, tuition etc. My wife works but it covers the basics to survive. Even with the help that I am asking, I will be working part-time for the school (minimum wage), for the church (God blesses), and attempt to balance family.
Of course, this is not your problem. You probably have bigger problems than me graduating from school. And you are right, you did not tell me to drop everything and follow my call. But I know as my friends you guys don't think that way. And it is safe to say that as friends whether you help or not, we will always be friends becauseI know you wish me well. But any help will mean so much to me. It will not only let me finish school but also confirm once more that there is a God that lives. And if I only receive $1 donation or nothing, I know God will provide. My friends, God is always there, I am living proof of that. I want to thank all who just took the time to read this and share it too. To my family and spiritual family, thank you so much for supporting our ministry and helping with what you can. Prayers are always welcomed. I love you all and pray that the God will bless you all like He has blessed me.
