Help Tara beat cancer!

Hello everyone,

This is not the easiest thing to talk about so bear with me. On July 29, 2021, a dear friend/ co-worker of mine found out she has stage 4 liver cancer with 8 tumors to tackle. She had been dealing with stomach pain for about a year prior to finding out she has cancer. Her doctor told her she will need to be on a very aggressive treatment of chemotherapy. Tara has treatments two weeks on and one week off with one 8-hour treatment and one 2-hour treatment. She must drive to Atlanta for her tests, MRIs, and doctors’ visits. As you can imagine this gets very costly.

Now let me tell you a little about Tara. I have known her for 8 years and it feels she's a part of my family. She is the most selfless person I know. Tara would give anyone the last $2 she had to make sure someone would not go without. If you needed a place to stay Tara would give you her couch or if you needed a friend to just be there for you that is Tara. No matter what she has going on in her life she will always give you 100%. Tara is a loving wife and mother with one daughter. Tara and her husband Kevin have always worked hard to earn a living and to enjoy life which if you know them, they live life to the fullest. They are loved by so many, and it always amazes me how truly loved and known they are in the community.

Now with Tara not being able to work, her and her family need as much love and support as anyone can possibly give. Even if you are not able to donate money you can donate a prayer.
