Isaac Huber Family Fund

My son, Isaac, is in kidney failure and needs a kidney transplant immediately. Isaac suffers from a congenital condition that was able to be managed medically for a long time. But recently, he experienced a rapid decline in kidney function. His doctors explored every option for treating him, but now the only way he will regain his health is by having a kidney transplant. Once the donor details are confirmed, the surgery can be scheduled. Prior to needing a transplant, patients go through extensive tests and many days are spent waiting for news. During that time, the health of the patient continues to decline and making it to work every day is a challenge.

Isaac is 25-years-old and the sole breadwinner for his beautiful family, which is made up of him, his wife Crystal, 4-year-old Chloe, and 12-month-old Anthony. Isaac continues to work as much as he can, but he is unable to complete full shifts due to the symptoms of kidney failure (including profound fatigue, high blood pressure, nausea, insomnia, and vision issues). Since he is not able to work full-time and will not work full-time until he has had the transplant and is fully recovered, the expenses are accumulating rapidly and will continue to increase.

Many people have asked him and others in the family how they can help. This outpouring of support is very meaningful to Isaac and his entire family. After talking to Isaac and Crystal, we know that financial concerns are weighing heavily on them. We decided to set up a GoFundMe to help them pay for medical expenses, and all the other expenses that one has in life that doesn't stop because you are sick -- things like mortgage payments, groceries, utilities, and other bills. The support from this fund will sustain the family as they await a transplant and get through the recovery period. By helping in this way, some of the pressure and worries on the family will be relieved. Your support will help Isaac focus on his family, his health and on staying positive.
