Update 8/13/18:
It’s been 4 weeks since my last Red Devil session! The Red Devil basically killed all my fast multiplying cells (cancer, nails, hair, etc). My nails have not grown since I started chemo back in June. They encourage us to paint our nails so we won’t see our nails dying (the black spots under my nails and ridged nail bed). I painted my nails red 3 1/2 weeks ago and they have grown! It’s the most beautiful “bench mark” I’ve ever seen! They are growing back! And my hair will be back sooner than you know it! The new chemo is treating me well- I’m not experiencing any traditional side effects except some bone aches and fatigue- all tolerable.
We are VERY blessed to have such a “ginormous” village behind us! We appreciate it all... the Go Fund Me, Meal Train, random texts and calls checking in, visits, play dates, all your thoughts and prayers! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Today was #7 out of 16 chemo treatments! Please continue to pray for me and my family! Your prayers keep us going! I’m almost half way there!!!! Woot Woot!
We are still in the process of working on numerous projects around the house. Many got started, but few got completed. Your donations really help us to continue to work on the house and enable me to continue to focus on my recovery while I'm unable to work.

Update 6/30/2018:
As you can see by the updated photo, Laurie has lost her hair due to chemo. She will be receiving the "Red Devil" chemo #3 of 16 on Monday 7/2/18. Her 4th chemo treatment will be on July 16th. Then, chemo will be EVERY week for 12 weeks. She still needs our help folks! Her house projects are far from finished and she will not be able to return to work when school resumes in August. Please help by donating and sharing this Go Fund Me campaign.

Laurie is an amazing teacher, friend, sister, mother, wife, aunt, daughter, and all around amazing person...who is in need of your help!
On May 10th, three days before Mother's Day, Laurie was diagnosed with breast cancer. On Monday, May 14th, she was told it had advanced to stage III. She had a PET scan Friday, May 18th and awaits to find out more information this coming week.
Laurie needs your help ASAP!
Laurie moved on April 29th into a house which needs numerous projects completed. The completion of these projects is critical so Laurie may come home to a sterile environment once her chemo starts. Please donate what you can to help complete these house projects and assist with taking time off work for medical treatments. Laurie has exhausted her vacation and sick time. Please donate what you can to help Laurie and family with all these unforeseen expenses.
