Many of you know my sweet sister Allison. Her partner Oliver was diagnosed with Lymphoma about a year and a half ago and has been fighting every day since then. Since being diagnosed, he has undergone many rounds of chemo, a stem cell transplant, and a full course of radiation. Despite all this, his cancer has spread. His next best hope is immunotherapy via a clinical trial, which he hopes to start soon. 

All the while, Allison has been his full-time caretaker and medical advocate, as well as the light of his life. To say that these two are courageous and resilient is utterly inadequate. To describe them as full of grace and kindness also doesn't begin to cover it. They are gentle, artistic, loving souls that have somehow managed to make the world even more beautiful even as they have suffered and struggled tremendously. 

If you’re interested in contributing, I know it would mean a lot to them. They’re also looking for a place to stay in LA to be closer to the medical care that Oliver needs. If you’re in the LA area or have connections there, please keep an eye out for clean, peaceful, short-term/flexible housing opportunities (housesitting, etc.).
