As many of you know, I have been going through a really tough time since my beautiful daughter Danae passed away 3 1/2 years ago. My body has collapsed physically, and I am struggling with pulmonary edema, deep vein thrombosis, scoliosis, and osteoarthritis.
I am in a wheelchair now, and it is a challenge to get around.
I recently needed to move to a handicap apartment.
I was blessed to get a call from a reduced-income senior apartment after being on the waiting list for almost a year.
But it has been a scramble to pay the deposits and move-in costs.
Now this weekend, I learned that I have a blood clot in my leg. The protocol is 14 days of injections into the stomach.
Medicare is paying 80%, but the copay is overwhelming.
I have never had to do this before, but I am reaching out to my family and friends for assistance in getting back on my feet.
Any amount will go a long way, as will your prayers and sharing this fundraiser with others.
My deepest gratitude to all of you who have so generously offered me love, prayers, and encouragement as I walk the path of a grieving parent. I know many of you have also made this journey.
I am determined to renew my health so that I can return to the Mary Magdalene programs that Danae was helping me with. She loved the energy of Mary Magdalene, and I look forward to getting back on my feet so that I may continue the work in her memory.
