Over the past two months Lora learned that she had aplastic anemia, a condition in which the bone marrow does not create enough new blood cells. In an effort to treat this condition, she underwent numerous transfusions as well as drug therapy. Tragically, on Friday August 26, Lora experienced an unexpected brain bleed that could not be stopped. Her passing has left family and friends shocked and deeply saddened.
