As many of you know, Rylan has been on a long journey with childhood Neuroblastoma.  This cancer can be very relentless, and in Rylan's case, that's just what it's proving to be.  After his first rounds of chemo treatments, Rylan was put in the category of "remission".  This joyous milestone was short lived.  With his first set of follow up scans, small tumors were detected.  So, this was the start of his second go at it. They have been tracking his progress and John and Kendra just received "gut wrenching" news that the cancer is building up immunity to the chemo that he has been on.  All the areas of concern have grown to be larger.  The mass on the spinal cord is of most concern because it has already begun to shift his spine to the side.  Surgery is not an option because the time it takes to heal would allow the other tumors to grow.  Rylan is currently being admitted and will start a MUCH stronger chemo.  We need to PRAY that this chemo does the trick.  John and Kendra are terrified that they are running out of options.  John is staying by Rylan's side, Kendra may temporarily go home to be with the other kids.  John is able to take time off of work, but it is time without pay.  The LAST thing he needs to worry about right now is money.  They need our help!
