Hi Everyone,
I, like many, am an adopted member of the Broxson/Rivera/Holland Family. If you know them, you know that they take in everyone and are willing to help anyone at a moments notice. I have set up this campaign for them, because they are in need of a lot of help right now.
On the morning of Monday, August 29th Alex was driving his 2 friends to school and all 3 were killed in a car accident on the way.
I can't imagine a more tragic story for his family. As you know, Alex was a bright, lively, fun, and kind guy. He was finishing up college and getting into his true passion, music while living with his Grandma in Florida. All of that has sadly ended.
The Broxson/ Rivera/Holland family has had a hard few months. Candie, the family support system and lifelong single mother, who would literally give the shirt off her back for her friends and family, has been unemployed for the past few months and now has a family to move and a funeral to pay for. Candie (Alex's mom) & Nina (Alex's Grandma) are both not currently able to work because of illness and won't be able to make it without our help.
In true Broxson fashion, she has planned to have memorial services for Alex in Florida, New Jersey, and California so that no one will be forced to travel. Always thinking of others.
If you have anything to give, please, please do so. A grieving mother shouldn't have to also be concerned with money.
