Hi, my name is Tiffany Tews and I am the dog-mom of the most incredible sweetheart Bella. I've been blessed to have experienced the last 8 years of my life with her by my side every step of the way. I truly believe she had a massive hand in getting me through community college, my bachelors, and my first job post-grad all in one piece. She means absolutely everything to me.

Unfortunately in July of this year Bella suffered with some medical issues that while very expensive, were somehow manageable. She was severely anemic, and we largely still do not know the cause of this. She is responding well to medications, which are expensive but worth every penny.

Now things have once again taken a turn for the worst. She is currently back at the UC Davis Teaching Hospital, and underwent an MRI. Her blood is not clotting properly, causing a lesion under her spine which is causing her pain and affecting her ability to walk. The decision to pursue this was an easy one for my mind and heart, because I will do anything for her. It was not however an easy decision for my wallet. I walked out of that hospital with her leash in one hand and an estimate of $14,000 in the other. I will need to move back into my parents home. And I will do it, gladly, for her.

The financial ramifications of all this are extremely high. Where I was previously just barely keeping my head above water I am now drowning. I hate asking for help, let alone money. But after prompting from my best friend I've decided to create this in the event that some folks are in the place to and have the desire to help. Any donation will be appreciated beyond words.
