Update: On August 31st, my wife, Tabitha, lost her battle with cancer. Heaven gained an amazing woman. Tabby was definitely the light of our lives and we will forever miss her. Any further donations will go towards funeral expenses, bills and care towards our three children whom now have to face a future without their mother. We appreciate all the love and prayers that were sent to our family during this tragic time. Tabitha will forever hold a place in everyone's heart. Thank you again. God bless.
My wife, Tabitha, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Cancer on August 25th, 2016. It all started with pains in her lower back that radiated down her leg, along with trouble breathing. We went to our local hospital the week before, only to be sent home with a diagnosis of a muscle spasm and a panic attack. The pain continued and became unbearable so I rushed Tabby to the hospital in Augusta Ga which was about 30 miles away. After just a few hours and a few tests, we were given the horrible news. Tabitha had a massive amount of fluid around her lungs along with spots of cancer on her kidney and in her stomach. There was also a small spot on her lungs that was believed to be a blood clot, but now we know that it is also cancer. After her intial surgery to remove the fluid off her lungs, Tabitha had to be sedated and hooked up to machines to help her breathe because her lungs are not strong enough to function on their own. Her lungs are too weak to consider any more surgery and the only option we have left is chemotherapy. We don't know if the chemo will work, but we have to try. If not, there is a huge possibility that I will lose my wife because the cancer is growing so rapidly. Tabitha is an amazing wife and a wonderful mother to our three children and I can't imagine life without her. Unfortunately, Tabitha had just started a new job and was in between insurances so she is currently uninsured. Any money that is donated will help keep the bills paid, food on the table for our children and the extreme amount of medical expenses that will soon start pouring in. Please pray for my wife and her battle with cancer. Our family appreciates anything that is given, whether it be money or just prayers. Please share our story with everyone you know. Help give our family a chance to spend a lot more time together! Thank you so much and God Bless!!
