Mark Wood's Medical Fund

On August 22, 2016 Mark Wood was riding his bike training for the MS150 and a young man playing Pokemon Go stepped in front of him and caused Mark to have what could have been a fatal accident. Mark bravely swerved to miss this young man and hit a concrete barrier that broke his C1 and C2 vertebrea. It is by the grace of God that he made it to the hospital as the family has learned less than 2% of these cases actually make it to the hospital and nearly all of these survivors end up as a quadraplegic. 

Mark and Veronica, along with their son Braxton, are humbled by God's grace and are thankful to report Mark made it succesfully through a very complicated surgery and will go home. But this is where we need YOUR help. The family has encountered an exorbitant amount of expenses and those expenses will continue to escalate in the weeks and months ahead. We ask you to PRAY for the Wood family and to donate any amount you feel led to help with these expenses. It is fitting to end with Mark 10:27: Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God: all things are possible with God."
