This is Herman... 

Herman is a senior citizen kitty who was once a beloved pet. He lived with a sweet elderly lady who cared dearly for him, but when she passed away several years ago he was left without a home. The lady's relatives didn't want to care for him and wanted to put him down.

Thankfully, the local neighborhood loved him too and managed to convince the family to let him live out the rest of his life in the community he knows with the people who care about him. And so for the past 8 years Herman has been a welcome sight in our neighborhood, with many "homes" that he frequently visits for love and food.

Lately, Herman has been having some trouble eating. A recent visit to the vet showed that he is in surprisingly good shape, except for one very important thing.... his TEETH. They are badly decayed and causing him much pain, which makes it very difficult for him to eat. Herman is growing thinner every day, and yowls in pain when he does try to eat. Over the last few days the condition of his mouth has taken a turn for the worse, and could possibly be infected.

We are asking for the community that loves Herman to rally around him once again and save his life. The procedure necessary to extract his teeth and free him from infection and pain is costly, but necessary. He will need surgery ASAP before he becomes too weak and malnourished. All funds raised will go directly to his veterinary bills and aftercare.
