Helping to Replace Nick's Bike
Nicholas Isom is an incredibly selfless and wonderful person who is a friend to anyone he meets. He also has a great passion for cycling, recently completing a 1,000 mile trek from Alberta to Montana. Unfortunately, on Friday, August 26, while cycling before work in New Orleans, he was struck by a driver who ran a red light, injuring him and totalling his cherished $1,200 bicycle. The driver left the scene of the accident and police are continuing to look for this person in hopes of bringing them to justice. While Nick was lucky to escape with relatively minor injuries, he is still left without his bike and unsure what he will end up having to cover in medical bills.
Nick has done so much for me and for so many others over the years, and it would be wonderful if some of us could help him out with some money toward replacing his bike and covering some of his medical expenses.
The world isn't always a nice or fair place, but I know that he is surrounded by a lot of people who love him. If you feel that you could help in any way, no matter how small the amount, please donate. Thank you and let's get Nick back on the road doing what he loves.
