Hi! I am Lorisa and I have permission from Julie's husband, Mario to set up this account for her.
If you can find it in your heart to donate anything to her family, it will help them greatly. Prayers are MOST welcome. Julie loves Jesus and believes that He is her healer!
Months ago, Julie had been experiencing nausea, dizziness, and unwell feelings. After no doctors, urgent care or E.R.'s could find anything, she just kept getting worse. Finally, she ended up at VCMC on November 8th where they found her gall bladder to be infected and removed it. She had some more gall stones that were too deep for VCMC to get to them, so they sent her to CMH to have another surgery with a specialist. During the surgery, Julie's blood pressure dropped. She currently is still experiencing low blood pressure and she has not yet stabilized.
CMH has told Julie's family that there is nothing more they can do, so they are sending her to USC. USC has approved her coming, however, they do not have a bed available for her. As soon as one becomes available, Julie will be transported there. All of this creates a financial burden on Mario, who is still working while his wife is in the hospital. If we can all come together and donate what we can, this will help allieviate some of the monies that Mario will need for any medical bills not covered, gas to and from USC, possible hotel stays, food for him and his family, and the list goes on. If you are in direct contact with the family and want to give them gift cards for gas, groceries, restaurants close to USC, cash, etc... that is welcome as well.
Julie has given SO MUCH of her time, treasure and talent to young girls in the youth group. She is a genuinly good person and we all love her so much. I know that Julie and Mario will be so grateful for any help they receive during this time.
