Health brings a freedom very few realize, until they no longer have it.
I’m saddened to say, my older sister Amber was very recently diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 30. She faces a double mastectomy, with chemo and radiation in between surgeries. As I watch her go back for surgery now, her outlook and positive mindset are admirable, but she faces a long road to recovery over the course of the upcoming months.
Her employer doesn’t offer financial assistance or disability. Her wonderful fiancé Justin, is going to continue to work two jobs, while also helping to raise their two year old son, Silas. Unfortunately, his income strictly won’t be enough.
We’re seeking help social media. I do not want my sister to stress or worry about the financial burden of how bills can be paid during her recovery. I’m going to donate $500, and my parents were gracious enough to match this, for a total of $1000 to start this page for Amber and her family.
Even a $5 donation can go a long way. If you can’t donate, we completely understand, but you can still help. Please send prayers to the man upstairs/the higher being in which you believe in. It goes a long way.
Thanks and God Bless.
