Although you feel bad and have compassion for others who go through tragedy, it is never really understood until it hits really close to home, to the heart.
This morning there was a bad storm in central MN. But this one was different than all those others we have had this year... this time lightning struck, causing a fire that took not only a home, pictures, & valuables.... but also loving pets from some of my closest family.
Scott & Jeanne are my husbands uncle and aunt but as today showed... Scott might as well be Chad's dad, since I referred to him as that...
Scott, Jeanne & ScottiJo have lost so much today, yet - we are so incredibly grateful they are alive, especially after hearing the story.
ScottiJo was supposed to be leaving for her sophomore year and to begin transfer orientation today at the U of M.
They have so much to rebuild.
I know and truly believe there is a reason for everything and that God brings good from it all - it doesn't mean you don't have heartbreak moments through it all, doesn't mean it isn't hard....
I ask that you pray for strength, courage, endurance and comfort for this family as they endure the long process of rebuilding.
I also ask that if you have the financial means, even if only $1, that you support this family as they reconstruct all they have lost.
