Our names are Chad and Heidi Bowden and we are very close friends of the Uitermarkt family. Chad has known Jesse for seven years and he was recently the Best Man in our wedding. He, Lyndsay and Kenny are very dear to us. 

As most of you know, Jesse was recently diagnosed with Acute Mylomoncytic Leukemia (AMML) and is preparing for a long road of intense treatment ahead. He will start with 24/7 chemo for one week and then will have to be (mostly) isolated as he will not have an immune system. The doctors are hopeful as this is a relatively common and researched form of Leukemia. He will be hospitalized for a minimum of four to six weeks. 

We are raising money for the Uitermarkt family, to help with anything they may need help with; such as medical bills, gas, groceries, etc. This money will go directly to the Uitermarkt family to assist them in any way necessary. We will keep this page open for the next three weeks, however, they will have access to the funds at any time necessary. 

As stated earlier, the Uitermarkt family is very dear to us and have been there for us through thick and thin. We feel this is a small gesture of our appreciation for all the things they have done for us and to show them just how much we care. We would be forever grateful for anything you could donate. It goes to help an amazing family get through a pretty tough time in their life.
