A weak heart puts family in need

My girlfriends younger sister Michelle Giess and her fiance Travis Schaffer just found out some devastating news.
In May of this year Travis wasn't feeling well and he drove himself to the hospital (where he stayed for a week) to find out he has cardiomyopathy, ventricular tachycardia, dyspnea, nonrheumatic mitral valve insufficiancies and pleural effusion.
Travis went home on many heart medications and a life vest to shock his heart if it was to stop. He is a 36 year old with an 80 year old heart that is only functioning at 25 %. Three months later on his next check-up and echo exam, they received the news that the heart medications are not going to help and this condition is permanent. In three weeks Travis will be under going surgery to have an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) in hopes to save his life if his heart suddenly fails.
Travis is hard working and due to his current health condition and work requirements, this has limited his job duties. Travis and Michelle recently closed on their house in May two weeks prior to him being diagnosed.
Not only is Travis great to Michelle, he is a wonderful father of three beautiful children, Tavia(12), Kian(8), and Kendra(7). They will be doing genetic testing on his children to see if they have this disease.
I'm concerned about the stress that Travis is going through worrying about the financial strain this is putting his family in and dealing with the news about his permanant health condition.
To help Travis and Michelle with the medical bills, we have made the decision to set up this gofundme page. Any bit of help will be appreciated by the family and even more appreciated by Travis, Michelle and their three children.
