We need your help! Help my friend Eri attend college. Eri has a bright future ahead of her. You can help ensure she realizes her dreams!

I started working with Eri when she was 8, tutoring her in math and reading. Now she is about to turn 17! Eri's mom, Elsa, came to the US from Eritrea by way of the Netherlands, so she speaks English as a third language. As a single mother, Elsa works very, very hard in multiple jobs to provide for Eri and ensure she graduates high school. The DC metro area is so expensive, and makes it so difficult to save for the future. We can help keep Eri on track and help put her creative mind to good use!

On October 1, Jackie will run 50 miles, and I will attempt to run 100 miles in a single day. Just as we will need your positive thoughts and prayers to get through this difficult event, Elsa and Eri have endured things many times more challenging, and still they persevere. They still show up every day to toe the start line at this thing we call Life. They deserve our help.
