Hi, I'm Michelle. I am Chloe's nanny, she has lived with me since she was 7 years old. Chloe is one of the bravest people I know, she has faced more medical challenges in her life than most of us ever will, yet she continues to smile and refuses to let her disabilities stop her.
Up until October 2025, Chloe was a karate athlete, she has won 24 National British and English titles, despite being diagnosed with an arachnoid cyst in her brain in March 2023. She had lots of seizures, but still carried on training and competing.
In October 2025, Chloe had surgery to have her arachnoid cyst removed, but the aftermath gave a shock no one was expecting! Chloe lost the ability to walk!
She has been diagnosed with FND, a neurological disorder that affects the brains ability to send the signals to her muscles. FND can affect many parts of the body, but for Chloe, it's her legs.
We have been doing lots of physio at home, as the NHS haven't been able to provide the right support. We have decided to go private to speed up the process and try to get the physio and equipment Chloe needs for her rehabilitation.
