4 month old Joey was picked up by animal control yesterday after receiving a call of an injured kitten. When they came to the scene, he was crouched underneath a car in North Bergen with his front left paw raised in pain.
We rushed him to our vet soon after & x-rays showed that Joey has a severe fracture in his humerus & therefore we need to take him to a specialist .
We are at the specialist now and Dr.Hunt says that surgery cannot be delayed. After today, the only option will be to amputate. The estimate, with our rescue discount is $4100.
Of course we would like to save Joey's leg, but need your help to raise the money. We put down the deposit, but only have a week to raise the remaining funds.
If you can donate towards his care, we can save his leg and give Joey a normal life,
