Hello to the friends and family of Karen Schwenk. We are hoping to get your help to support Ms. Karen while she is down and out for a bit!
If you haven't heard our dear Karen has gone out and found herself the rarest bacteria, which decided to use her body as a host environment. She may be the next star of "Aliens Go Internal". In all seriousness, she contracted what is commonly known as "flesh eating bacteria." 1 in 4 people don't survive infection and those that do have to deal with serious complications after the invasive surgeries they endure to save their life.
Karen is out of the ICU now and recovering at Kaiser in Oakland. She has been in the hospital since August 19th and is hoping to be released next week. She will have a long road to complete rehabilitation and, as many of you know, she is an independent business owner. While she's out her bills are piling up: mortgage, school tuition, car payment, etc. (we all know the list). Let's put her mind at ease...and pay her bills for the next two months!!!
