Peter's stroke recovery fund

On September 24, 2015,  my brother Peter suffered a stroke.  Peter has suffered from Diabetes since his late teens/early 20's.  He has needed multiple procedures and surgeries due to complications including retinopathy in both eyes and multiple infections in his feet/legs. He has been let go from his job of many years, and has been unable to work since.  He has lasting effects from the stroke that require him to go to physical and occupational therapies multiple times each week.  His speech has been impaired, his thought process is delayed, and he has "fainting" spells which sometimes render him unable to even just walk around the block with his kids.  His recovery is hindered by irreversible damage caused by the diabetes.

Peter has applied for, and  has been DENIED disability twice, and now has to wait for a judicial administrative hearing that wont happen for another 550+/- days.  

Peter has always worked hard to provide for his wife and 5 children, but now they are struggling to even make ends meet due to the large medical bills and his inability to work.  His wife Emily drives from Hutchinson to Mpls  and back every day for work and is doing her best to support the family, but one income these days is barely enough to  keep a roof over your head, let alone pay for school clothes, lunches, and car payments or repairs.
